          Goods originating in the European Union are not considered imports. They are considered as goods moving between EU territories, so they do not pay customs duties.<\/p><\/blockquote>

          The receipt of goods and shipments of containers by sea which originate from countries not belonging to the European Union (China, USA, United Kingdom, Turkey) are considered imports.<\/strong><\/p>

          If you are importing goods or products from a third country, you will most likely need to complete the Import Customs Declaration (DUA) for Maritime Container Customs Clearance shipments, regardless of whether you are a business or an individual, and whether the goods are being transported by sea, land or air.<\/p>
